Where Has The Passion Gone (CD)

Message taught by Ray Comfort. The Book of Samuel has a very relevant portion of Scripture for today’s Church. We are told that when an enemy of Israel (led by a man named “Nahash”) was about to attack them, he agreed to a peace treaty. But it had one condition. Nahash said, “On this condition will I make a covenant with you, that I may thrust out all your right eyes, and lay it for a reproach upon all Israel.” He wanted to gouge out their right eyes! That sounds strange, but Nahash had a method to his madness. Warriors in those days fought with the le ft side covered with a shield, making the right eye the fighting eye. Nahash was seeking to destroy their ability to fight.
